From afar, one already notices the unusual form of the SILENA, your soulful hotel. Together with architects from noa*, we took our inspiration from the South Tyrolean upland moor and from South-East Asian elements. You can already see it in our exterior facade. It optimally blends with the upland moor as it consists of an endless pattern resembling purple moor grass and cotton grass. Our concept of contrasts pervades. Thus, a world between waking and sleeping has been created. Working together with the architects from noa*, we created a place of quiet, power and soul.

As an award-winning architecture and design studio noa* also communicates the idea of SILENA in the second rebuild. Founded by Lukas Rungger and Stefan Rier, the two teams in Bolzano and Berlino represent a collaborative work ethos: architects, designers and artists pursue a design methodology that changes constantly depending on the requirement of the respective project.
