The alpine village Fane Alm and its carefully maintained wooden alpine cottages are truly picturesque. In the summer and spring, these traditional cottages are decorated with flowers. In the fall, the foliage turns orange-yellow. Snow is still on the ground in winter. Between the Isarco and the Puster Valley, the ski and alpine region Rio di Pusteria has everything you could ask of a holiday in the mountains. A dreamy mountain village, hearty comfort food in the cottages and top speeds while skiing, mountain-biking or tobogganing. There are 500 peaks from which you can look out over the Dolomite Mountains and its neighbours the Zillertal, Stubai and Ötztal Alps. A breathtaking experience at any time of year.

This alpine village with its small chapel and quaint cottages is a truly enchanting place. A place where time has stood still. You can visit Fane Alm by strapping on your hiking boots or even your snowshoes. The place is worth a visit at any time of year. It is authentic and genuine, a direct connection to South Tyrolean tradition. You can also set out at sunrise or embark on a hike at full moon – the village will always look a little different. You can also expand your excursion and use Fane Alm as your base camp for various alpine hikes.
