We’ve also got small children, and we know just how energetic they can be. The SILENA is a temple of peace and quiet. This hotel is adults-only, and guests 14 and over are welcome.

• The SILENA is located at 1,354 m asl, surrounded by the lush, green meadows of Valles, at the foot of the Cima della Capra.

• The Rio Pusteria train valley station is just a stone’s throw from us. The train leads to the Rio Pusteria skiing carousel and alpine resort.

• Valles is jusr a 20-minute drive from the Bressanone motorway exit.

• The closest train station, Rio Pusteria, is a 10-minute drive away.

• Our address is Birchwaldweg 10, 39037 Mühlbach/Vals, Alto Adige, Italia.

• If you’re travelling from the north via the Brennero, take the A22 towards Bolzano-Verona and exit at Pustertal/Brixen (Val Pusteria/Bressanone).

• If you’re coming from the south, take the A22 motorway and exit at Val Pusteria/Bressanone/Brixen.

• After exiting the motorway, follow the directions to Val Pusteria/Pustertal.

• Follow the road for approx. 4 km until you reach a tunnel.

• Before the tunnel, take a right towards Mühlbach, Rio Pusteria and follow the directions to Valles takin a climb on the left.

• Once in Valles, head straight ahead towards the Jochtal/Rio Pusteria train station and take a right towards the SILENA.

We’re happy if you plan to travel in a green and relaxing modality – by train.

• We’ll happily come and pick you up at the station and take your suitcases (20€ each way). Just let us know if you’re arriving in Fortezza or Rio Pusteria.

• Please request your transfers, letting us know when and from where, at least one day before arrival before 12:00 pm at info@silena.com

• You can travel to South Tyrol by train from Italy, Germany, Austria, and eastern Switzerland. A direct Eurocity (EC) train connects Munich to Fortezza via Innrbuck and the Brennero Pass.

• If you want to travel by train from eastern Switzerland, travel via Zernez-Malles or travel to Fortezza from East Tirl via Lienz and Innichen.

• There are various flights to Bolzano

• Innsbruck airport is just one hour and half dive away, Verona two hours and a half.

• From there, either rent a car or get a train. We’ll come and pick you up for free from the Fortezza or Rio Pusteria train station. Please request your train station transfer by emailing info@silena.com.

You can reach SILENA using public transport. We’ll come and pick you up at the Fortezza or Rio di Pusteria train station (20€ each way). Request your transfer one day before arrival by 12:00 pm at the very latest. Thank you.

Check In
Your room or suite will be available from 15:00 on check-in day. You can arrive before then, and we’ll do our best to make your wait as pleasant as possible. We cannot organise early check-ins, so, if you arrive early, we’ll happily give you a tour of the SILENA and fill you in on all you need to know. Let us know with plenty of notice if you’re arriving after 19:00.

Check Out
Vacate our room or suite by 11:00 on check-out day. We can organise a later check-out, subject to availability and payment. Regardless, you can use the SPA until 16:00 on your check-out day. We wish you a relaxing stay!

We’re happy to know you drive an e-car! We’ve got four charging stations which you can use for €0.70/KW.

Please let us know if you’d like to bring your dog during the booking procedure. We’ll arrange everything possible. We ask you to keep your dog on a leash and don’t bring it with you to the SPA, the restaurant or on the sunlounge meadow. For the extra cleaning, we apply a €40 surcharge/night (food excl.). Dogs aren’t allowed in specific rooms or suites – please ask us for more information before booking.

To make your stay as peasant as possible, let us know of your food intolerances when booking. For safety reasons, we cannot welcome guests with potentially lethal allergies. Your wellbeing is important to us. We’ll do our beast to make your stay as safe as possible.

There are plenty of parking opportunities at the SILENA. You can park outside for free. Some room categories include a parking space in our underground car park. If your room doesn’t you can park your car park underground for €15/night.

Sometimes plans change. No worries, things will go as planned next time, and we’re looking forward to getting to know you soon. Overall, there is no right to cancellation pursuant to the Consumer Code. However, we’re happy to provide you with the following conditions:

• up to 14 days before arrival: free cancellation (downpayment is reimbursed)

• up to 2 days before arrival: 80% of the booking fee

• up to the 1 day before arrival, or late arrival or early departure: 100% booking cost.

Non-Refundable Rate

When booking a non-refundable rate, the stay cannot be cancelled or modified free of charge after the reservation has been confirmed. In the event of cancellation, no-show, or early departure, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged. Any payments already made are non-refundable.

We recommend you take out a travel policy insurance to be covered in case you need to cancel.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, EC or cash. Cash payments are accepted up to €4,999. If you opt for a bank transfer, you need to settle the bill before your departure. We don’t cheques, Dinner Club or American Express cards.
